Experienced Social Worker (AWLD Transition Service) - Remote

Overview

An excellent opportunity has become available for an Experienced Social Worker to join the AWLD Transition Service team at Lewisham Borough Council. This team is dedicated to supporting young adults aged 18-25 with learning disabilities, autism, and physical disabilities as they transition to adulthood.

In Short

• Assess and support vulnerable young adults with learning disabilities, autism, and physical disabilities.

• Complete Community DoLS assessments.

• Competitive pay rate of up to £35 per hour.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience as a Social Worker.
• Experience working with young people with learning disabilities, autism, and physical disabilities.
• Familiarity with strength-based assessment techniques.
• Legal literacy, including Community DoLS assessments.
• Prior experience in adult social care environment.
• Social Work England registration.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
