Overview

Liquid Personnel are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Team Manager to join Durham’s Children in care Team.

In Short

  • Build effective relationships with children, young people, and families.
  • Advocate for individual needs to achieve outcomes based on evidence-based assessments.
  • Spend quality time with children in care to understand their views and support their recovery.
  • Complete and update assessments and review care plans.
  • Assess and manage risk with the support of your team manager.
  • Work as part of a strong multi-agency team.
  • Contribute ideas and aspirations to improve outcomes for children.
  • Hybrid working options available.

Requirements

  • Hold a fully accredited DipSW/Social Work degree and registered with Social Work England.
  • Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in Children’s Social Care.
  • Experience working with all service user groups and minority ethnic groups.
  • Experience interpreting and applying the law relating to children and/or adult services.
  • Experience in child protection and childcare work.
