Approved Mental Health Professional - Adults Team - Remote

Overview

An exciting job role has recently become available in Kirklees. We are looking for a new member for their Adults Team.

In Short

• You will receive and triage all referrals, passing them to the appropriate service for prioritization.
• Identify appropriate and inappropriate referrals while offering training.
• Support CMHT AMHPs when referral numbers are unmanageable or unpredictable.
• Engage with psychiatric wards, police, GPs, and mainstream social services.
• Coordinate all assessments from hospital wards and the police.
• Apply to the Magistrates court for a s.135 warrant as necessary.
• Hybrid working available.
• Diverse caseload.

Requirements

• Must have Social Work England registration.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Possess post-qualified experience.
• A degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work is required.
