Adult Social Worker - Community - Remote

Overview

An exciting job role has recently become available at Kingston. We are looking for a new member for their Community Team.

In Short

• Manage a service caseload including customers with complex needs.
• Accept referrals and undertake screenings.
• Carry out needs assessments and apply eligibility criteria from the Care Act.
• Provide professional supervision to non-qualified staff.
• Discharge statutory duties related to the care of adults and their carers.
• Maintain professional qualifications and develop effective working relationships.
• Conduct risk assessments and undertake reviews of customers with long-term needs.
• Promote good team practices and ensure safety.
• Stay updated with service developments.
• Handle escalations and provide support to the team.

Requirements

• Social Work England registration.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Post-qualified experience in social work.
• A degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
