Head of Group Accounting - Remote

Overview

The Head of Group Accounting at Lingoda is responsible for leading all accounting activities, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and efficient processes across the organization.

In Short

• Lead and develop the accounting function.
• Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage group reporting according to HGB and IFRS.

• Oversee AP/AR processes and cash flow management.

Requirements

• Certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter IHK) required.
• At least 10 years of experience in accounting, with 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of HGB and experience with IFRS.
• Experience with DATEV, Excel, and financial tools.
• Proven track record in process improvement and automation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Experience in PE/VC-funded environments is a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Strategic and analytical thinking.
