Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Accountant will play a central role in maintaining financial data, ensuring legal compliance, and supporting financial processes at Lingoda, contributing to accurate and transparent financial information.

In Short

• Manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger accounting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile bank accounts and clarify accounts.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with legal reporting and tax requirements.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Analyze financial information and prepare status reports.
• Develop and optimize accounting processes and internal controls.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Several years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., DATEV).
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Very good German (C1) and English (B2) skills, both written and spoken.
