QA Engineer (Remote)

Overview

The QA Engineer will be responsible for implementing testing strategies, contributing to the development and maintenance of test automation, and working closely with development and product teams.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Typescript
• Implement test automation frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and design effective test strategies
• Conduct thorough testing of web applications (React, Express, Electron) to identify and report defects
• Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements
• Identify opportunities for process improvement in QA practices
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of programming languages (e.g., TypeScript, JavaScript)
• Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Playwright)
• Understanding of CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., GitHub Actions)
• Exposure to performance or security testing is a plus
