Overview

The Mechanical Engineer at Tile, a subsidiary of Life360, will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality consumer electronics.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop consumer electronics.
• Specify and evaluate mechanical components.
• Support reliability testing and tooling development.
• Work with manufacturing partners in low-cost regions.
• Participate in mechanical component documentation.
• Assist with supplier selection and product development.
• Perform failure analysis on mechanical defects.
• Support DFM reviews and tool design verification.
• Travel to manufacturing partners may be required.
• Hybrid position with 2-3 days in the office weekly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in consumer electronics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with design and manufacturing partners.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of DFM and assembly processes.
• Experience in tooling development.
• Familiarity with product development cycle.
• Basic understanding of electrical subsystems.
• Proficiency in MCAD tools like SolidWorks.
