Financial Controller - China and APAC - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a motivated Financial Controller to join our team and support LGC’s Science for a Safer World mission across China and the APAC region. This role reports to the Global Revenue Controller and works closely with the VP of Commercial China/APAC, based in Singapore.

In Short

• Lead the operations of our China entity.
• Ensure accurate reporting, planning, and compliance with international and local standards.
• Supervise the full finance and accounting function for the China entity.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Support tax filings and regulatory compliance.
• Deliver regular performance reviews and insights for China and APAC.
• Collaborate with commercial leadership to provide financial insights.
• Handle annual insurance processes for the Group.
• Work in a hybrid environment (50% office based).
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders in the UK and US.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a sophisticated manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin).
• Advanced Excel skills are necessary.
• Appetite for international travel.
• ACCA or CIMA qualification required.
