Overview

The Director of Sales Marketing is a field marketing leader, a strategist in collateral creation, and a vital contributor to sales strategy. This role requires a deep understanding of field marketing practices, a strategic mindset, and keen knowledge of Advertiser challenges to optimize sales channels and tactics for our solutions.

In Short

  • Drive the sales marketing strategy and tactical execution, ensuring alignment with the broader GTM and corporate goals.
  • Lead field marketing efforts to drive pipeline and sales growth, partnering closely with Revenue teams.
  • Develop sales collateral such as sales presentations, one-pagers, and case studies that facilitate the selling process.
  • Oversee the creation of sales toolkits, educational content and training resources that empower Revenue teams to sell more effectively.
  • Function as the primary liaison between the Product Marketing and Sales teams, ensuring alignment on strategy and tactics.
  • Direct cross-functional initiatives aimed at sales enablement, providing strategic oversight from inception to execution.
  • Consult and advise on sales channel optimization, ensuring successful deployment of field marketing activities and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years experience in a sales marketing, field marketing or similar role, preferably at an agency, brand, or platform.
  • Leadership skills with experience in managing teams to deliver successful sales marketing initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to lead and influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-starter with a keen awareness of the sales process, from lead generation to close.
  • Demonstrated experience in field marketing strategy and collateral creation.
  • Proven track record working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, agile environment to achieve organizational goals.
