Overview

The Senior SQL Data Engineer will play a crucial role in modernizing a legacy SQL Server data layer, optimizing performance, and preparing the system for cloud migration.

• Refactor and optimize SQL stored procedures for performance.
• Build repository layers and support ORM implementations.
• Collaborate with backend developers to define efficient access patterns.
• Monitor, tune, and benchmark critical database queries.
• Prepare data access logic for compatibility with Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Strong experience with SQL Server and query tuning.
• Expertise in analyzing execution plans.
• Experience with EF Core, Dapper, or similar ORMs.
• Knowledge of Postgres or Aurora PostgreSQL is a plus.
