Lock Desk Manager - Remote

Overview

Lendz Financial is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lock Desk Manager to lead our lock desk team and play a pivotal role in our fast-growing mortgage operations. This position is based in our Fort Lauderdale office, with the flexibility to work from home one day per week.

In Short

• Lead, coach, and develop a small team of lock desk specialists.
• Oversee daily lock desk workflow for accuracy and compliance.
• Set and monitor team performance metrics (KPIs).
• Partner with secondary marketing and sales leadership.
• Communicate market updates to the team.
• Identify process gaps and implement solutions.
• Process and track loan lock requests.
• Manage re-pricing and monitor expiring locks.
• Ensure data integrity in the loan origination system.
• Provide guidance on pricing scenarios.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in lock desk or mortgage operations.
• 2+ years in a leadership role preferred.
• Deep understanding of mortgage pricing and lock policies.
• Exceptional attention to detail in high-volume environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with loan origination systems is a plus.
• High level experience with PPEs such as OptimalBlue, LenderPrice, and LoanPass is a plus.
