Overview

The Income Protection Claims Assessor role involves evaluating claims related to income protection, ensuring fair decisions based on gathered evidence while maintaining customer satisfaction.

In Short

Requirements

  • Experience in handling Income Protection claims preferred.
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations.
  • Good medical knowledge and understanding of underwriting processes.
  • Ability to perform financial calculations for claims payments.
  • Understanding of reinsurance processes.
  • Empathy and sensitivity in customer interactions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage difficult calls.
