Mid+ Data Analyst - Billing and Collections - Remote

Overview

Lean Tech is seeking a highly skilled Mid+ Data Analyst to support our client’s Billing and Collections department. This role involves analyzing financial performance and payment behavior to transform complex datasets into actionable insights for senior leadership.

In Short

• Reconcile financial information across multiple billing and subscription systems.
• Experience with subscription platforms like Zuora and payment platforms like Stripe.
• Strong experience in extracting and manipulating large data sets using Snowflake, Looker, or Montecarlo.
• Identify payment failure trends and root causes.
• Communicate with data engineering teams to resolve data issues.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools.
• Perform reconciliations and deeper ad-hoc analysis using Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ensure full QA of reports before presenting results.
• Provide clear data storytelling for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with various teams to drive operational improvements.

Requirements

• Strong experience in extracting data from multiple sources, including Snowflake.
• Knowledge of SQL Programming in a Cloud environment.
• Basic experience with billing and payment platforms like Stripe and Zuora.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience building dashboards and reports in Looker.
• Understanding of the data lifecycle and financial reconciliation processes.
• Ability to interpret financial trends and operational performance data.
