The Relief Medical Assistant / Patient Care Coordinator I position is designed for entry-level candidates to learn and apply essential skills in patient care and clinical administration, contributing to a collaborative healthcare environment.

In Short

  • Perform patient care duties including measuring vital signs and drawing labs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent training.
  • No previous experience required; entry-level position.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Skills in problem-solving and customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with clinical care skills and practice care coordination.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new healthcare practices.
  • Understanding of population health concepts and practices.
