Accounts Payable Specialist - Remote

Overview

Lago is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support one of our clients. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

In Short

• Receive and review invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Process and enter invoices into the accounting system.
• Prepare and execute payments to vendors via check, ACH, or credit card.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
• Assist in resolving vendor inquiries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure all necessary documentation is acquired for payment processing.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and assist with year-end close procedures.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
