Labor Compliance Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Labor Compliance Specialist will provide overall compliance support to projects requiring prevailing wage and other specific labor requirements.

In Short

• Monitor and enter certified payroll weekly and assist HR with company payroll.
• Work with LCP Tracker and other compliance monitoring software.
• Review and verify payroll records and benefit statements.
• Responsible for labor compliance company-wide.
• Review public contracts for labor requirements.
• Perform periodic audits on projects.
• Develop risk assessment on Compliance Programs.
• Stay abreast of applicable laws and regulations.
• Participate in third-party reviews and audits.
• Conduct labor compliance training for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years experience with US Public Works Labor Compliance Programs.
• Payroll/Certified Payroll Experience.
• Experience with prevailing wage enforcement and auditing skills.
• Knowledge of employment practices in the construction industry.
• Experience implementing procedures and coordinating with departments.
• Ability to work independently and accurately.
• Ability to provide compliance guidance across the organization.
