Collections Professional - Remote

Overview

The Collections Professional will be responsible for managing customer accounts, negotiating payment arrangements, and ensuring compliance with collection guidelines in a dynamic environment.

In Short

• Monitor customer account details for payment irregularities.
• Contact customers to negotiate payment arrangements.
• Educate customers on account terms and payment programs.
• Utilize skip tracing methods to locate customers.
• Maintain accurate customer account information.
• Forward severely delinquent accounts for review.
• Adhere to FDCPA guidelines and company policies.
• Record all transactions and customer notes.
• Respond to customer inquiries and store requests promptly.
• Collaborate with team members for store support.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of installment loans and customer protection laws.
• Understanding of loan origination documentation preferred.
• PC skills including MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Previous collections experience required.
• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older.
