The L2 Onsite IT Support/Desktop Support role involves providing technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues primarily onsite in Frechen, Germany, with some flexibility for remote work.

In Short

  • Provide onsite technical support for IT issues.
  • Handle tickets via ServiceNow.
  • Install, move, add, and change IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot networking and connectivity issues.
  • Manage user accounts and access controls.
  • Coordinate hardware refreshes and backups.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies.
  • Maintain documentation and knowledge base.
  • Assist in project support and deployments.

Requirements

  • Experience in IT support roles (L1/L2).
  • Proficient in German and English.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
  • Understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, VPN).
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Experience with user account management and security.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Ability to provide training to end-users.
  • Experience in asset management.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
