As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) specialized in Data Infrastructure at Kraken, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our robust Data platform.

• Design data governance mechanisms for our lakehouse.
• Implement infrastructure for data ingestion and storage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role.
• Experience with real-time data processing technologies like Kafka.
• Familiarity with AWS and hybrid systems.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Solid understanding of bash/shell scripting.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data-related technologies is a plus.
