Overview

As an AML Compliance Associate at Kraken, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with AML/CFT obligations and help shape the company’s regulatory strategy in the EU.

In Short

• Oversee outsourced AML operations and suspicious transaction reporting.
• Review high-risk customer escalations during onboarding and monitoring.
• Analyze internal alerts for regulatory reporting.
• Maintain documentation for regulatory audits.
• Support AML/CFT policies and risk assessments.
• Assist in AML/CFT training delivery.
• Monitor regulatory developments.
• Contribute to management reporting.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with AML Compliance Monitoring Plan.

Requirements

• 4+ years’ experience in financial services compliance.
• Understanding of Irish/EU AML legislation and KYC best practices.
• Ability to identify money laundering red flags.
• CAMS certification desirable.
• Experience with outsourced compliance functions.
• Strong communication skills with internal and external entities.
• Knowledge of Web3 technologies is a plus.
• Fluent in English and based in Ireland.
