Overview

This position is for a working student in the field of electronics and software development at KOSTAL Group, where you will gain practical experience while studying.

In Short

• Develop hardware-related software in C(ANSI) and integrate typical microcontroller peripherals.
• Investigate memory consumption, runtime, and energy efficiency.
• Integrate modules into existing embedded platforms.
• Use version control systems like Git to manage software versions.
• Maintain and develop build/IDE systems such as CMake and Visual Studio Code.
• Configure and maintain CI pipelines.
• Automate compiling, testing, and analyzing software.
• Utilize static code analysis tools.
• Create and maintain reports.
• Support test automation and regression analysis.

Requirements

• Enrolled student in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar.
• Independent and structured working style.
• Knowledge of programming languages, preferably Python and C(ANSI).
• Familiarity with automation/bus systems.
• Minimum availability of one year.
• Good English and German language skills.
• High team spirit and commitment.
