In Short

• Lead and manage project purchasing teams in various locations.
• Focus on key and critical projects regarding economic and quality goals.
• Monitor project KPIs for EU+ projects.
• Collaborate closely with the Global Head of Project Purchasing to optimize purchasing processes.
• Coordinate escalation issues within purchasing departments.
• Work with EU+ Commodity to optimize the supplier pool.
• Ensure proper maturity of purchased parts and timely PPAPs with supplier quality teams.
• Participate in comprehensive risk assessment and mitigation for projects.
• Support internal departments in resolving supplier issues related to new product launches.
• Report directly to the Head of Purchasing EU+.

Requirements

• Completed degree in engineering or business sciences or a comparable background.
• Several years of experience in advanced mass production, ideally in the automotive industry.
• Experience in a project team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and IT knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and resilience.
• Persuasiveness and influence with excellent communication skills.
