In Short

• Designing and building RESTful Node APIs, React frontends and/or React Native mobile apps.
• Regularly releasing working software, using trunk-based development, automated test suites, and infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Incorporating requirements such as performance, resilience, observability, maintainability, security and accessibility.
• Collaborating with other disciplines, building effective working relationships.
• Achieving a shared understanding of user needs, Kooth commercial and operational goals.
• Deepening knowledge of industry trends and best practices in software engineering.
• Developing code both individually and via pairing with others.
• Supporting junior and new-hires in your specific domain areas.
• Joining the out-of-hours on-call response rota.

Requirements

• Experience with Node.js and React.
• Understanding of RESTful API design.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Experience with continuous integration practices.
