Overview

The Senior Technical Support Specialist is a key technical resource primarily responsible for providing expert-level support to crane operations across North America, requiring advanced technical expertise in electrical systems and troubleshooting of complex crane configurations.

In Short

  • Provide advanced technical support through remote and on-site consultation.
  • Deliver training sessions to enhance technical capabilities.
  • Resolve complex design and operational challenges.
  • Act as a technical resource throughout project life cycles.
  • Coordinate on-site technical collaboration.
  • Manage post-commissioning tasks related to system integration.
  • Provide field support during installation and startup phases.
  • Collaborate with warranty teams for technical troubleshooting.
  • Conduct advanced technical training sessions.
  • Maintain subject matter expertise on new products.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Industrial/Electrical/Mechanical/Technology or related field preferred.
  • Minimum five years experience in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
  • Prior experience with cranes is preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be willing to work off the ground and lift heavy weights.
