Overview

We're looking for a Director of Product Design to join our team remotely from anywhere in Canada. You’ll lead a team of talented product designers and play a key role in bringing bold, user-centric ideas to life - shaping the visual and experiential future of KOHO's digital banking platform.

In Short

• Define and champion the design vision for KOHO's digital banking experience.
• Lead the end-to-end design strategy for KOHO’s product ecosystem.
• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of 4 high-performing product designers.
• Scale user research practices to ground design decisions.
• Drive team effectiveness and productivity by improving design workflows.
• Contribute to design work on critical, high-impact projects.
• 8+ years of product design experience required.
• Proven track record of setting a clear design vision.
• Exceptional UX and UI design craft.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for emerging technologies.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience, including 3+ years leading design teams.
• Experience in fintech or regulated industries is a strong asset.
• Deep understanding of how research and data guide design decisions.
• Collaborative leader who builds strong teams.
