Senior Data Scientist – Product & Platform Analytics - Remote

Overview

Kodex is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Data Scientist – Product & Platform Analytics to lead data-driven decision-making across our platform. You will help define how we measure success, uncover insights that shape our product roadmap, and partner across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing to optimize business performance.

In Short

• Refine ambiguous questions and generate hypotheses through a deep understanding of our data, customers, and product dynamics.
• Define how teams measure success by developing and maintaining KPIs and user/business metrics.
• Lead the design and interpretation of A/B tests and experiments.
• Collaborate to improve the availability, reliability, and accuracy of data infrastructure.
• Build large-scale data architectures to identify user behavior patterns.
• Perform deep-dive analysis to uncover user behavior patterns and product opportunities.
• Develop compelling, data-driven stories for senior leadership.
• Build and maintain dashboards for real-time monitoring.
• Support prioritization of product initiatives through clear insights.
• Guide other technical team members to foster a strong data culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years or Master’s/PhD with 4+ years in a quantitative field.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
• Expertise in experimental design and applied statistics.
• Strong data modeling and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
• Experience with data pipeline architecture is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to influence across disciplines.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
