Closer/Funder - Remote

Overview

As a Closer/Funder at Knock, you will manage the final stage of our customer’s loan journey, ensuring timely and accurate loan closings while providing excellent customer service.

In Short

• Prepare initial closing disclosures and balance with settlement.
• Settle all closing issues timely and accurately.
• Prepare and execute the transfer of lender funds.
• Work with a cross-functional team to ensure loan closings progress smoothly.
• Verify accuracy of loan documents before closing.
• Manage an individual loan pipeline of 50-60 loans per month.
• Provide timely communications regarding closing status.
• Audit signed closing documents for accuracy.
• Support team learning and take on ad-hoc projects.
• Work remotely with a distributed national team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with residential loan closings.
• Strong understanding of mortgage regulations.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Familiarity with lending management systems.
• Experience in Encompass LOS preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
