Senior Attorney - Remote

Overview

KIND seeks a Senior Attorney to provide senior-level expertise and leadership in the provision of legal services by KIND attorneys and pro bono partners to unaccompanied children facing removal proceedings.

In Short

• Provide mentoring to pro bono attorneys on immigration law.
• May provide direct representation to clients.
• Supervise staff attorneys and paralegals.
• Engage in outreach with community stakeholders.
• Oversee data management and case audits.

Requirements

• J.D. and admitted to local state bar.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Minimum 4 years practicing immigration law.
• Experience with children and trauma survivors.
• Experience supervising legal staff.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively.
• Experience in a remote environment preferred.
