Policy Lead - US - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Policy Lead to drive our global policy strategy, strengthen relationships with regulators and policymakers, and position Kiln as a trusted voice in the staking and DeFi ecosystem.

In Short

• Develop and execute Kiln’s public policy strategy for staking, DeFi, and blockchain.
• Identify and implement proactive strategies on policy issues globally.
• Engage with government, regulators and industry groups.
• Work closely with internal teams to align business strategies with regulations.
• Draft policy white papers, consultation responses, and thought leadership materials.
• Monitor and analyze public policy trends.
• Collaborate with external advisors and trade associations.
• Support internal regulatory training initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in public policy, regulatory affairs, or government role.
• Strong knowledge of financial services and technology.
• Experience engaging with lawmakers and regulators.
• Experience advising teams on policy considerations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Prior experience with DeFi, staking, or blockchain policy topics is desirable.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in public speaking or policy advocacy is a plus.
