Regulatory Policy Lead - Remote

Overview

Charm is a leader in the carbon removal field, and is seeking a Regulatory Policy Lead to expand Charm’s regulatory policy work and support permitting efforts. This role will be critical to ensuring that Charm’s operations are able to scale rapidly.

In Short

• Lead regulatory strategy and stakeholder management efforts.
• Support injection permitting and potentially air and land permitting.
• Work closely with policy and operations teams.
• Design and implement Charm’s regulatory strategy and engagement.
• Coordinate with operations team for permit submissions.
• Monitor and report on regulatory compliance.
• Occasional travel required to states where Charm operates.
• Reports to Charm’s Head of Policy and Market Development.
• Can be remote or based at one of Charm's locations.

Requirements

• Experience in regulatory policy and permitting.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Experience in the carbon removal field is a plus.
