Head of Accounting (Blockchain) - Remote

Overview

Kiln is looking for a Head of Accounting to build out our accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while implementing financial operating procedures across the organization.

In Short

• Lead integration of ERP systems and transition to IFRS.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate with external auditors for audit readiness.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
• Mentor the accounting team for a high-performing department.
• Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in Big 4 or BtoB software.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Genuine interest in Web3, blockchain, cryptocurrency.
• Experience with crypto accounting is a plus.

• Proven expertise in multi-entity operations and IFRS transition.
• Deep understanding of accounting principles.
• Experience overseeing AP, AR, and expense reimbursement.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Interest in Web3 and cryptocurrency.
