ServiceNow CMDB Manager - Remote

Overview

The role involves maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This includes overseeing data governance, defining the structure of the configuration management system, such as identifying Configuration Items (CIs), establishing naming standards, defining relationships, and supervising mapping and discovery activities. You will be critical in improving incident and problem management, streamlining change processes, optimising asset utilisation, mitigating risks, and aligning IT infrastructure with strategic business goals.

In Short

• Ensure accurate CMDB development, implementation, and maintenance to support IT service management processes.
• Leads, educates and mentors critical stakeholders on developing and maintaining configuration management services, concepts, policies and procedures.
• Providing advice and support during system deployments to manage change impacts across configuration items.
• Generate reports and insights from the CMDB to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
