RMBS Associate - Remote

Overview

Kroll Bond Rating Agency is seeking an Associate to join our Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS) team in the London office.

In Short

• Lead ratings analyst for RMBS, managing the ratings process from start to finish.
• Conduct quantitative modelling and cash flows analysis.
• Prepare credit committee memos and write reports on the RMBS sector.
• Manage expectations of stakeholders and communicate KBRA’s credit views.
• Represent KBRA in operational risk reviews and conferences.
• Surveillance of rated transactions in RMBS and other asset classes.
• Assist in developing structured finance methodologies.
• Receive support from senior team members for deliverables and learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is a plus.
• Three or more years of relevant experience in RMBS preferred.
• Good understanding of credit risk concepts and mortgage products.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VBA.
• Ability to analyze and present complex issues concisely.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Willing to travel freely between the EU and UK.
• Second language is highly regarded.
