Overview

Kaizen CPAs + Advisors is hiring a full-time Fractional CFO to lead financial strategy for a portfolio of fast-growing small- and mid-sized businesses.

In Short

• Lead financial strategy for small- and mid-sized businesses.
• Manage financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Guide business owners through critical financial moments.
• Supervise and mentor a Financial Analyst.
• Develop financial models for pricing and strategic planning.
• Facilitate review meetings with clients.
• Ensure proactive communication with clients.
• Lead onboarding for new CFO engagements.
• Support M&A activity through financial due diligence.
• Maintain CPA, CMA, or EA licensure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• Active CPA, CMA, or EA license required.
• 10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience.
• Intermediate-level tax knowledge.
• Experience advising small to mid-sized businesses.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
