Siting Manager - Remote

Overview

The Siting Manager at Kairos Power will provide regulatory licensing support for the development of fluoride salt-cooled, high-temperature reactors, focusing on site-related licensing activities.

In Short

• Provide site-related regulatory licensing support for reactor construction and operation.
• Establish and execute strategies for site selection and characterization.
• Lead administration for site negotiation and selection contractors.
• Coordinate with Licensing leadership on regulatory pathways and framework development.
• Develop licensing products, including environmental and safety analysis reports.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams for licensing-related activities.
• Support interactions with the US NRC for regulatory compliance.
• Resolve strategic licensing topics, including site characterization and emergency planning.
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive strategic siting initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant science field required.
• Master’s degree in Engineering or relevant science field desired.
• 5+ years of experience in environmental and site characterization.
• Experience in new nuclear project environmental and site characterization desired.
• Strong alignment with Kairos Power mission and collaborative mindset.
• Demonstrated coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Results-driven and accountable with a focus on meeting milestones.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with NEPA environmental reports and site permitting.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
