People & Capability Business Partner - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a skilled People & Capability Business Partner to join our team and provide specialist HR advice and support to our WA State leadership team in a dynamic and child-safe compliant environment.

In Short

• Partner with the State General Manager as a trusted business partner.
• Deliver professional HR advice aligned with company policies.
• Coach leaders in workplace investigations and compliance matters.
• Design retention initiatives to address turnover challenges.
• Support leadership capability development through coaching.
• Provide insights into people-related metrics.
• Collaborate on national P&C projects and policy development.
• Manage workplace injuries with external specialists.
• Provide change management support and coordinate P&C services.

Requirements

• A degree in HR, Business Management, or related field.
• Knowledge of Australian employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience managing complex employee relations issues.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build networks and trust.
• Change management training (e.g., Prosci) is desirable.
• Membership of AHRI at a CPHR level (preferred).
