Overview

The Senior Software Engineer will join JumpCloud's Data Engineering team, focusing on managing and optimizing MongoDB clusters while developing scalable data pipelines.

Requirements

• 8-12 years of experience as a Software/Data Engineer or Database Administrator.
• Proficient in managing MongoDB sharded clusters and replica sets.
• 5-8 years of experience in Node.js, Go, Python, or Java.
• 1-3 years of technical leadership experience.
• Experience with microservices or APIs interacting with databases.
• Solid understanding of database concepts and optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Comfortable with Linux or OSX development environments.
