Head of Product Design - Remote

Overview

As Head of Product Design at Joko, you will own the vision and execution of Product Design, leading a high-performing Design & Research team to enhance user experience across all products.

• Lead the design vision and quality standards at Joko.
• Be hands-on in the early stages of design processes.
• Ensure high standards in UX, UI, accessibility, and interaction design.
• Build and scale a team of Product Designers and a User Researcher.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering on strategies.
• Implement structured User Research practices.
• Leverage AI and modern design tools for efficiency.
• Foster a culture of design excellence and ownership.
• Recruit, coach, and develop design talent.
• Ensure user insights inform design decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Product Design.
• Previous leadership experience in Product Design.
• Experience in B2C and mobile-first product design.
• Background in high-growth startups or product-led organizations.
• Proven track record in building and managing design teams.
• Strong collaboration skills with Product Managers and Engineers.
• Hands-on experience with user research.
• Fluency in English; French is a plus.
