Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Claims to join our team at Johnson, Kendall & Johnson, Inc. (JKJ), a premier independent insurance brokerage firm in the United States.

In Short

• Support clients in reporting and directing multi-line insurance claims.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to claims.
• Monitor claims for timely resolution.
• Organize and lead claim review meetings.
• Advocate for clients throughout the claims process.
• Analyze insurance policies and explain coverage.
• Build relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
• Negotiate settlements with insurers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing claims.
• Experience in client consultation.
• Property & Casualty license required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient in Agency Management Systems.
• Knowledge of insurance claims mechanisms.
• Ability to mentor associates.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
