Overview

As a Small Business Account Manager at Johnson, Kendall & Johnson, you will manage and service a diverse book of commercial accounts, acting as a trusted advisor to small business clients.

• Serve as a primary contact for small business clients.
• Review and analyze commercial insurance policies.
• Prepare audit check spreadsheets across multiple lines of coverage.
• Document policies and client activity within agency management systems.
• Complete policy billing templates and ensure timely processing.
• Request renewal information and market accounts for competitive quotes.
• Prepare and present renewal and new business proposals.
• Issue certificates of insurance and endorsements.
• Collaborate with producers, carriers, and internal teams.
• Maintain professional communication with clients.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in insurance.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance coverages.
• Experience managing a book of business (150–350 accounts).
• Comfort with Applied Epic or AMS360.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Clear communication skills and service-oriented mindset.
• Active Property & Casualty license in your state.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
