In Short

• Transform healthcare data from Epic EHR into OMOP CDM format.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of healthcare records.
• Collaborate with clinical informaticists and data engineers.
• Validate and test data conversions for accuracy.
• Troubleshoot data integration issues.
• Document processes and create reports on conversion progress.
• Hands-on experience with OMOP, FHIR, and clinical terminologies.
• Background in healthcare-related fields is beneficial.
• Experience with John Snow Labs’ technology stack is a plus.
• Long-term freelancing contracts with 30 hours per week commitment.

Requirements

• PhD in a relevant field preferred but not required.
• Experience in EHR data management with Epic EHR systems.
• Strong understanding of OMOP Common Data Model.
• Proficiency in SQL and data transformation tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience with ETL tools and processes.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards in healthcare data management.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
