Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Accountant with DATEV experience to join a modern, profitable debt collection startup in Berlin. This position goes beyond traditional accounting, as you will be a key player in supporting the growth of a rapidly scaling startup.

In Short

• Responsible for managing ongoing financial accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank, cash).
• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure smooth operations in all accounting processes.
• Collaborate closely with tax advisors and auditors as a central contact.
• Actively participate in the digitalization and optimization of our finance processes.

Requirements

• Completed commercial training or a degree in finance/accounting.
• Several years of experience in financial accounting (accounts receivable & payable).
• Excellent knowledge of DATEV.
• Structured, reliable, and independent working style.
• Very good German language skills; English is a plus.
