As a Technical Customer Success Manager, you will be the trusted partner for a portfolio of high-value customers, ensuring their retention, satisfaction, and long-term success. This role combines relationship-building with hands-on technical expertise, empowering you to solve problems directly and guide customers through best practices. You’ll act as the main point of contact, proactively monitoring product adoption and addressing risks before they become issues. With a focus on retention rather than aggressive expansion, you’ll ensure customers derive maximum value while fostering strong, lasting partnerships.

In Short

  • Act as the primary point of contact for 30–60 mid-to-large customers, driving engagement and retention.
  • Build strong relationships with users, from technical teams to decision-makers, ensuring their goals are met.
  • Provide expert guidance on configuration best practices, SDKs, and integration into customer environments.
  • Proactively monitor product usage and revenue data to detect risks early and implement corrective actions.
  • Own and relay customer feedback to internal teams, influencing product development and improvements.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via Slack, support tickets, and email, delivering outstanding service.
  • Maintain a proactive approach — preventing surprises such as unexpected churn and building automations where helpful.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer success or technical support roles.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Technical background or understanding of software products.
  • Ability to analyze product usage data and customer feedback.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with SDKs and integration processes.
  • Experience with support tools and communication platforms (e.g., Slack).
