Staff Analytics Engineer - Remote

Overview

This position is central to building the analytics infrastructure that powers mission-critical insights across the organization. As a Staff Analytics Engineer, you will design and implement scalable, trusted data models and dashboards that inform clinical, operational, and product decisions.

• Design, implement, and maintain modular, scalable data models and transformation layers in a modern analytics stack.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and operational teams to turn complex questions into actionable insights.
• Build and optimize analytics workflows using dbt, SQL, and cloud-based data warehouses (Redshift or equivalent).
• Develop BI dashboards and explore configurations (Looker, Hex, or similar) to support decision-making across teams.
• Ensure data quality, performance tuning, and documentation standards are consistently applied across projects.
• Drive improvements in analytics engineering processes, architecture, and platform practices.
• Support cross-functional stakeholders in self-service analytics and adoption of curated datasets.
• Contribute to data governance initiatives, including metric standardization, cataloging, and access management.

Requirements

• Experience in analytics engineering and data modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with dbt.
• Experience with cloud-based data warehouses such as Redshift.
• Knowledge of BI tools like Looker or Hex.
• Strong understanding of data governance best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to document processes and maintain data quality.
