Specialized Instruction Educator - Remote

Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced Special Education Teacher to support students remotely across Oregon.

In Short

• Deliver individualized remote instruction aligned with each student’s IEP and educational goals.
• Provide compensatory education services and support for suspended or expelled students.
• Design and implement tailored lesson plans focused on literacy and foundational skills.
• Conduct screenings, monitor progress, and perform outcome assessments.
• Collaborate with families to schedule services and provide resources for at-home support.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of sessions and student progress in line with internal policies.

Requirements

• Experience as a Special Education Teacher.
• Strong understanding of IEP requirements.
• Ability to design personalized lesson plans.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with remote teaching tools and methodologies.
