The Software Development Manager will lead and inspire engineering teams responsible for a high-impact e-commerce platform. • Conduct performance management, feedback, and development planning to cultivate talent and future engineering leaders.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of engineering experience, including at least 2+ years leading software development teams in a modern web stack environment.
• Technical expertise in Node.js, React, cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure transferrable), and GraphQL or similar real-time API frameworks.
• Experience with Agile teams, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, CircleCI), and delivery practices including code review, test automation, and observability.
• Strong strategic problem-solving, communication, and facilitation skills, able to bridge technical and product discussions.
• Proven ability to manage complex priorities, navigate ambiguity, and make decisive, ownership-driven decisions under pressure.
• Familiarity with secure coding principles and PCI compliance requirements.
• Preferred: experience in high-traffic e-commerce platforms, distributed systems, serverless platforms, or contributions to open-source projects.
