Senior Product Owner - Remote

Overview

This position involves bridging the gap between business needs and technical requirements within a dynamic software-product organization, supporting the implementation of innovative software solutions.

In Short

• Translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.
• Act as a bridge between Product Management, Development, QA, and business stakeholders.
• Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
• Write and refine user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
• Support product backlog management, including prioritization.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups).
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure requirements are understood.
• Perform gap analysis between business needs and existing system capabilities.
• Support testing activities by validating requirements.
• Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Experience with iterative development.
• User story writing with clear acceptance criteria.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform gap analysis.
• Solid understanding of software development concepts.
• Ability to query databases and analyze data using SQL.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/Product Owner.
• Undergraduate degree in IT, Business, or equivalent experience preferred.
