As a Payroll Support Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing for a dynamic, multi-state workforce. Working cross-functionally with people operations and finance teams, you'll support onboarding, run payroll cycles, and manage audits while enhancing internal controls. In Short

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for exempt and non-exempt employees across multiple U.S. states and international locations.
  • Onboard new hires into payroll and benefits systems, including conducting I-9 verification meetings.
  • Execute payroll reconciliations and proactively resolve discrepancies in titles, departments, or payout data.
  • Maintain accuracy of data within Paylocity and ensure continuous auditing of the HRIS system.
  • Respond to employee payroll queries with timeliness and professionalism.
  • Handle monthly/semi-monthly contractor payroll, unemployment claim responses, and state tax registrations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as ACA, HIPAA, ADA, and COBRA.
  • Partner with internal teams to support labor law compliance and benefits/payroll education.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Experience with payroll systems, preferably Paylocity.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and compliance regulations.
  • Strong communication skills for responding to employee queries.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
