In Short

• Recruit and hire new sales engineers for the territory.
• Manage the Sales Engineering team by setting objectives and measuring performance.
• Provide effective technical leadership in customer meetings.
• Fill in for absent SE's when necessary.
• Lead the employees to achieve the organization’s expectations.
• Act as an escalation point for pre-sales technical issues.
• Work with sales teams to strategize on the best sales approach.
• Maintain knowledge of the competitive landscape.
• New business development through strategic sales approach.

Requirements

• Prior management experience.
• Expert written and oral communication skills.
• Expert presentation skills including technical material.
• Network design background and/or security software background preferred.
• Experience with network protocols, firewalls, and/or IDS/IPS is an advantage.
• Experience with Cloud and SaaS solutions.
• Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

• Competitive salary range from $180,000 - $214,000/year.
